Add the sultry backing vocals by rising star Andre Cruz and this makes for a killer record, in the spirit of the old Los Angeles ballroom style arrangement. As a matter of fact the record itself is a love letter to that Old East LA Sound, the 45 color scheme sends a nod to the LA Dodgers, which Sam is a huge fan of and to show appreciation for the California Southland's long standing support his work with Peligro Brass, a spinoff project from the more established Sacramento band, Sol Peligro.
