Jump For Joy is an exercise in sonic maximalism. The debut album from LA-based 4-piece Ripoff Copy combines unusual song structures, noise breaks, infectious tunes, and sections of eerie ambience. Members focus on weaving unconventional sounds, beats, and melodies in and around the open space surrounding each instrument, keeping things satisfyingly unfamiliar and slightly uncomfortable.
