Reaching Away was Roger King's band post The Pine, a bit different than his most famous project but Roger's guitar and voice shine through. Straight-forward description of this album is that it sounds like the Pine mixed with those late 90's alt bands that you would see in movies or TV shows (Can't Hardly Wait, Dawson's Creek). It's cheap and worth a gamble if you are/were a Pine fan, you can do a lot worse.
