SLIM0 - FORGIVENESS Vinyl LP

FORGIVENESS is the debut album by Danish/Montegrinian/Iranian grunge/rock/art/doom trio SLIM0. It came to life through long live session melted into their rawest essence by the enigmatic artist and producer Aase Nielsen, who has closely collaborated with the group in forming their first full length release. Urgency, noise and desire characterize the musical and artistic expression on the record, where hardcore rock lives side by side with pop cultural references.

The album’s 17 tracks mirror an emotional landscape in the 2020s. Overstimulation gives way to grief which again is held closely by compassion. The role of the artist can seem like a tricky one, who wants to feel like they are watching the news when they are listening to tunes. Through crashed cymbals, distorted guitars and voices in unison, SLIM0 holds a mirror in front of the viewer while the world burns.
